Welcome one and all to Velvet Testimony – Spooky Edition.

After more than a decade electrifying audiences in shows like Rent, The Lion King, Six, and most recently as a Muse in the world premiere of Hercules at the Neue Flora. Shekinah steps into the spotlight for her official solo show in Hamburg. She will be joined by the COTTON CLUB HOUSE BAND led by Steve Wiseman from Brooklyn, NYC.

At the legendary Cotton Club, she invites you on a musical journey where timeless classics meet her own original creations. From the smoky depth of Nina Simone, the passion of Chaka Khan, mixed with fresh original material straight from her heart—this is a night that blends elegance with unshakable energy but tonight… a ghouly twist finds its place amongst the repertoire

With a voice that carries both velvet smoothness and raw fire, she invites you into an intimate evening at the legendary Cotton Club—where every note tells a story. Known for her elegance, stage presence, and ability to connect deeply with an audience, expect a mix of Motown, jazz, blues, and rock, all delivered with Shekinah’s signature flair: subtle and sultry one moment, explosive and joyous the next.

Feel free to fall even deeper in love with music—and to leave with spirits lifted, feet tapping, and hearts full.

This isn’t just a concert. It’s a celebration. A night of storytelling, soul, and songs—both familiar and brand new—that will linger long after the last note fades.
